DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Detroit Downtown - Fort Shelby

I liked how spacious the rooms were, making it comfortable for my family and I to get around. We loved the comfort of the beds, and televisions being in both rooms. We were also really happy that the room had a microwave, and refrigerator. The location was perfect because we were in walking distance from the Huntington Center, self-parking, restaurants, and the river walk. It was also easier to gain access into Canada from the Southern end as opposed to the Northern end.

The room setup was nice. It was quiet and clean. The lady who I spoke with as I was leaving was nice.

room size met the expectations for our family of 4, location was perfect in downtown. Valet service was reasonable price and very effective.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Loved being able to check in online. Halls are quiet. Rooms are very spacious. Facilities are very clean. There is a Starbucks in the lobby as well as a bar and dinning area so you do not need to go far for those accommodations.

There was plenty of room for luggage, etc. A refrigerator and microwave were provided. Clean. Plenty of towels. Two tvs and separate sitting area in my "king" room. Theaters, festivals easily accessible. The staff at front desk was professional, smiling -- a complimentary cookie was given at check-in.
